Great Pyrenees (long coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Adult : : X-Large
Jet needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
Jet is (as you can see) an extremely handsome Great Pyrenees male. He is one of the biggest Pyrs we have rescued -- we don't have a current weight for him, but Jet could easily be 140 lbs. He is currently in a foster home with sheep, goats, and chickens, and he has been good with all the livestock. But he is NOT so great with cats. Don't get the wrong idea though -- Jet has NO interest in being a livestock guardian -- he is very much a house companion. But you could take him to your farm or ranch and not have to worry that he will harm your livestock, except he will definitely chase your barn cats. He has been good with the other dogs in his foster home -- large & small, male & female, young & old. But he definitely thinks he's the king of the house and does NOT like sharing the sofa with another dog. If you want to adopt Jet, you may want to think about getting him his very own sofa. :) Although Jet has always behaved well with the children he has met, he is a big dog who doesn't always realize his size, so we think he would do best in a home with no children, or perhaps with older kids who are respectful of dogs. Jet's adoption fee is $200. If you're interested in meeting him, please submit an application on our website at www.BluebonnetRescue.org.
