Rio is a gorgeous boy, and so VERY sweet. We are still getting to know him, but we know so far that he gets along well with all the other dogs he has met (male and female, young and old) and he is safe with our goats and donkeys. He may have some Great Pyrenees or Anatolian Shepherd in his family tree. His long legs, athletic build, and tightly curled tail could be from either Anatolian or Akbash dogs. He's not solid white, as we would expect an Akbash to be -- he has just a few lemon-colored spots on his back. Our best guess as to breed is Anatolian/Akbash.
