Wynona is a female Great Pyrenees, possibly a mix because she’s on the small side at about 70 – 75 lbs. It’s possible that she’s not a mix, but just didn’t have good care and nutrition in the womb and as a puppy. Wynona and her VERY mix puppies landed in a busy shelter where our vet spends one day a week taking care of animals. Wynona enjoys the house, but also enjoys being outside guarding the goats and chickens. Recently, she has been busy watching after a newborn lamb that her foster family rescued and is bottle-feeding. So she’s in the house with the lamb, but is still guarding. Our vet estimates Wynona’s age at just over 3 years old.
