Janie has lived with goats her whole life. When her owner sold his goats, he included Coleman and Janie in the sale. The buyer didn't need dogs because he already had livestock guardians of his own, so he surrendered Coleman and Janie to us. Janie gets along with other dogs, ignores our barn cats, and is very friendly with people. We think she is too small to be a full-time livestock guardian but could be a good family dog for a small farm or homestead.
