Ty Monroe and his sister Jewel were picked up as strays from a rural area near Stephenville, so it's reasonable to think they might have been livestock guardians. They have done well with our Nigerian Dwarf goats; we have not yet tested them with chickens. We believe them to be siblings, but we think they may do better if separated. They were very shut down in the shelter, and both act as if they've never been on a leash. Since arriving at our rescue, however, they have become much more relaxed and are getting used to wearing a collar and being on a leash. Jewel is still a bit shy with people, while brother Ty Monroe loves attention and is more outgoing.
