Yeti is a BIG goofy boy -- sweet and affectionate and excited and generally just having a good time getting acquainted with everyone here at Windsong Ranch and Bluebonnet Rescue. So far, we know that he gets along well with big dogs, male and female. He CAN get along with cats -- it's entirely up to his mood and the cat. Our Orange Julius (yellow tabby male) just ASSUMES every big white dog is going to love him, so Yeti sniffed OJ and let the cat rub all over his legs. Morticia (tuxedo cat and mom to our kittens), on the other hand, doesn't have much patience for dogs, and Yeti tried to attack her. Sent her into hiding for a day, and now she is much more wary of him.
In his first introduction to our livestock, Yeti was curious about the goats but showed no aggression. He doesn't know what to think about the donkeys, and spends a fair amount of time barking at them. Hopefully as he gets used to them, he'll quit making so much noise. Yeti has a big bark and sometimes I think he and the donkeys are trying to see who can be the loudest.
Yeti is neutered and vaccinated and house-trained and leash-trained -- an all-around great dog. If you're looking for a big (over 100 lbs) white dog with a little more energy than the average Pyr, Yeti might be just the one for you!
